The same thing as before, but the host is now wide-eyed, and sticking his tongue out. Personally I find all of this very goofy.

Okay, now this one... it's really something, so I feel like it can speak for itself.

I have many questions.

1. Why is there an overreacting scared person in the first part of the logo?

2. Who the frick is this guy?

3. What is he saying?

No, seriously, I am curious, so I looked it up. apparently he says, "VID, VID. Nothing is viewed from your view! :)" I could've easily written this all down, but you just have to see it for yourself, it's amazingly confusing. Then again, so is all of this VID business. Here's a funny GIF so we can all move on.

Translation: "Hey! Relax, though! :)"

Just what I needed, this logo telling me to relax. I don't think I'll be able to O_O

The rest of this specific logo's variations aren't as interesting or involving. The most notable one I can think of has the mask donning Santa's hat and beard for Christmas. ^_^

Eventually, after a bunch of new original logos involving the mask, by 2002, the only logo VID was using was a simple yet understandable one. It had been 15 years, and they'd already engraved themselves into Russian TV, so the need for a flashy dramatic logo was unnecessary.

I'm surprised they never got away from this mask design. Imagine if they changed it to be less angry/bored looking, and made the toad more apparent and not look like a tumor. Maybe we'll get a re-rendered 4K version released onto the internet by 2017, who knows?
